O co-criador de Pantera Negra, Stan Lee, elogiou o elenco do filme e todos que ajudaram a trazer o super-herói para as telas de cinema.
Lee criou Pantera Negra junto com Jack Kirby na edição #56 de Quarteto Fantástico, em 1966. Ele não foi o único a elogiar o elenco, Will Smith também o fez recentemente ao dizer que “o filme quebrou falsos paradigmas de Hollywood.”
