Após assistir o filme Pantera Negra, Will Smith o elogiou no Instagram, além de parabenizar o elenco e a equipe pela atuação e trabalho duro.

“O que vocês fizeram é espetacular”, disse Smith em um vídeo. “Eu assisti o filme há alguns dias atrás e quase chorei. Vocês desafiaram e possivelmente até destruíram longas e falsas crenças e paradigmas de Hollywood. Eu só quero desejar parabéns para vocês. Estou orgulhoso e ansioso.”
